Gazprom says gas output falls 17.1% to 313.3 bcm in Jan–Sep

MOSCOW, Oct 3 (PRIME) -- The gas output of Russian gas giant Gazprom decreased by 17.1% on the year to 313.3 billion cubic meters in January–September, the company said in a statement on its Telegram channel on Monday citing preliminary data.

Gas exports to the non-CIS states fell by 40.4% on the year to 86.9 billion cubic meters in the period. Internal demand for gas from Gazprom’s gas transportation systems fell by 4.1% to 7.2 billion cubic meters.

The company also said that gas supplies to China via the Sila Sibiri pipeline continued to increase.
